PicoBoot is an IPL replacement modchip for the Nintendo Gamecube which, at its core, utilizes a Raspberry Pi Pico. It allows you to bypass the Gamecube’s bios and boot directly into any homebrew application, such as Swiss, upon powering the console on.
It allows modified code and programs to run at startup. This includes programs such as Swiss which serves as a user interface to allow other software to run. There is a range of software available including emulators for older systems, utilities, and the ability to load ROMs of GameCube titles.

The most current installation method is used including the 5v power supply with diode to allow for updating the PicoBoot firmware without having to de-solder the chip. Ask your installer for pictures of their installs - we have seen some messy jobs that needed repair.
