If SD card cannot read or corrupts for no apparent reason.

may try these steps in order

1 - make sure sd card is in properly. pop out and remove/replace.

2 - make sure your sd card can be read by computer.

if not, there may be a card issue.

3 - sometimes the menu folder contents get corrupted.

there is a file 01.rar on the SD card.

can put SD card in computer, unzip this, and replace the original folder with this.

then try again in the console.

4 - last step before opening console is to create a fresh SD card.

download this file from my google drive and unzip it:

https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tEpN3p5bP07A6Vh1RtVQ5OYnT3UIEmPS/view?usp=sharing

get a fresh SD card (small one is OK) and format it to fat32

and then copy the files to the SD card and see if it works

5 - a bit more involved, but can open up console and plug the SD card directly into the gdemu.

occasionally the extension cable can fail.

you would:

  remove the network adaptor

unscrew the four shells for the case

  remove top case

remove two screws that hold the gdemu and adaptor to mother board

unplug gdemu (plug is bottom right of the apparatus)

remove the top part of adaptor.

this is either four screws holding it to bracket under board, or 2 screws holding to underside of board.

unplug sd adaptor from gdemu board (if there is hot glue, this can be loosed with isopropyl alcohol).

  insert card directly into gdemu

put gdemu back on mother board and test (without reassembling console)

if this works you can remove reassemble without using the sd card extension cable
